Its September time for mountain trucking. Tried Old Peak Road first, but it got steep pretty quick with a lot of loose gravel. Headed over to Rock Creek but no admittance to the Watershed. After a brief rest up a forest road off of Decker I headed out rt. 20 and found Woods Creek Road. Very gradual slope. Pavement ends after a mile and gravel is well packed. At about 5.5 miles the grade increases but still not too bad. I turned back at 6 miles and I pretty sure I was on National Forest land by them.
