Forecast was for 105 at home so I rode to the beach. Man said it was already 100 when I got to Alsea but it didn't feel that hot. None the less it was a hot ride until about 10 miles from the coast when I started feeling a cool headwind. It was 66 when I got to Waldport and cooled off even more by the time I got to Beachside. I tried to sleep on the beach but it was too windy. New camp site right by the path I like to take to the beach.
