Finally got someone to ride with. Manuel is a younger, much faster, ex-racer. He's also part of a really cool team - http://www.organicathlete.org/. We headed out over Lewisberg Saddle and Soap Creek - Berry Creek to Airlie road. Then KIngs Valley road to Dallas. Back a diagonal route to Monmouth and Helmick to Suver and home on Independence hwy.
There was a fierce north wind. The only thing that kept us going was knowing it would be at our backs coming come. Sure enough we literally flew back to Corvallis. Hot for May. Got up to 80 on the ride, hotter afterwards.
